[ISSUE]: Freeze at start in OPL menu since 2 last versions (APPS function broken)

Hi,

Controller OEM used.
All is OK with 2194.
Last 2 versions are buged.

Console model

PS2 FAT PAL 30X

OPL version / revision

OPL 2197
OPL 2199

In which device(s) have you experienced this issue?

PS2 FAT PAL 30X in perfect condition with offical network adaptator & OEM controller

Context and extra information

Initial issue resolved by maintain start at OPL launch, it ignore existing configuration file.
EDIT 03:36AM > It seem that is caused by USB APPS activated or not.
EDIT 0404AM > Confirm the crash are caused by activation of APPS in configuration menu, no matter type of USB Key pluged or real APPS present or no on.

Problem can be avoid by pressing & maintain start at OPL launch.
Continue testing now.

could you check 2197 [run_2047 to run_2058], those run just fine for me but later builds freezing up

yeah, but you have several run compilations for each version and 2197 run_2047 to run_2058 seem to be more stable.

After avoid start control menu block, I can configure some option but after saving on MMC I have always freeze.
So it seem this version have major problem for read/write with config file on MMC.

Seem desactivate USB APPS resolve problem. But this not a solution.

Let's see...
Initially we have to differentiate "Versions" and "Runs"

Versions are the number of times the source code has been changed. We are currently on version 2199, which means that 2199 changes have been made to the source code.

Runs are every time the source code was "compiled" or "packaged". Currently the last run is number 2071

Imagine a gift wrap, the version is the gift itself, and the Run and how many different times you tried to wrap it

Usually only one run per released version, but other runs will be made if there are consecutive compilation errors.
