About the project
Raphtory is an in-memory vectorised graph database written in Rust with friendly Python APIs on top. It has existed for ~6 years (https://github.com/Pometry/Raphtory) and is actively developed by Pometry (https://www.pometry.com/) and shall be for the forseeable future.
I would imagine that the individual wheel size may creep up very slightly over time, but not drastically. The main reason for the release size is because of the number of operating systems and python versions we are supporting as can be seen below.
How large is each release?
~625MB per release
This is for 25 wheels that are all ~25MB each. This includes supporting python 9-13 for windows, mac and linux over x86 and arm.
There is no notable content bundled here other than the binaries and we are continuiously monitoring the codebase to keep the size of this to a minimum.
How frequently do you make a release?
We release a minor version every month or two, with patches sprinkled in if we fix a significant bug.
