About the project

This is a project with LLVM packaged to be installed directly into the Python virtualenv on Linux: https://github.com/karellen/karellen-llvm/

Reasons for the request

The specific subproject karellen-llvm-core-debug contains DWARF debug files for the entire LLVM library, to assist development. DWARF files even compressed by wheel's zip are very large (uncompressed DWARFs >1.2GB), unfortunately, so the whl size is >500MB. The requested file size is to have head room for future releases if the DWARF file grows.

That is a really limit. For LLM related training libraries, I suggest using something like NTLK. If you can reduce the size limit request, I can go from there, thanks.

Thanks for your response. I need the literal DWARF files for debugging purposes, not the LLM training (this is LL V M, not LLM 😄).

I'm not sure I understand this statement, I'm sorry. Is 1000MB too high of a request? The current size is +-561MB, so for future growth I can probably live with 750MB or even 700MB. How much can you give me?

Limit of 750 MiB granted, please be mindful that at 1000MiB there is a hard cap on file size. So be mindful as your project evolves and approaches that limit.
