About the project

cuda-tile is a new Python package that the CUDA team at NVIDIA is preparing to release soon-ish. It contains a Python frontend and a JIT compiler for tile-based GPU programming.

Reasons for the request

We are making every effort internally to reduce the package size; the 300 MiB request is based on the current estimate, just in case we hit unknown blockers preventing us from further reduction by the time of release.
