Reasons for the request

We lost access to the PyPI account that currently owns this project. The package was originally published by a third-party developer, and we no longer have the credentials or a way to contact them. To continue maintenance and updates, we created a new PyPI account using our official Sendbird Platform API group email. We’re requesting ownership transfer so we can manage the package under our official namespace.

Contact and additional research

We have attempted to reach out to the original maintainer but have been unsuccessful. The project has not seen updates in a significant amount of time, and ownership appears to be inactive. We are happy to proceed with any verification steps required by PyPI moderators.

Hi, could someone in charge of this ticket take a look, please?
The contractor who was an original maintainer, jamesrobertson, of the package sendbird-platform-sdk left the company as their contract ended, and we lost access and control over the maintainer's account and the company email.
So, we created a new PyPI account Sendbird-team whose primary email('team.platform.api@sendbird.com) is managed by the company. The company also owns the package's GitHub repository (https://github.com/sendbird/sendbird-platform-sdk-python).
Our release schedule has been delayed, so we’re in a bit of a hurry. If possible, could you please give maintainer access for the package as soon as you can?”
