About the project
SasView is an analysis package for small angle scattering data. The project has been active for just under 2 decades, but this is the first time we are making an official PyPi release thanks to a restructure of our repository's project structure. Any previous releases on PyPi was just experimental.
Reasons for the request
Our wheel currently takes up just under 150 MB. We think a large amount of the space could be freed up by deleting some example data which we don't think needs to be packaged anymore. However, we are too far in the release schedule to make this decision, and thus such savings will have to be deferred to our next release (planned release date in August). We would therefore like to request that this limit is raised for this release.
