Reasons for the request
We are requesting ownership of the aws-sdk package name in order to publish an official AWS package. Our team maintains several widely used AWS packages, including boto3, botocore, and awscli. The aws-sdk name will be used for distributing an official package securely and avoiding potential confusion with unofficial or previously malicious packages.
Given that aws-sdk is inactive and appears to have been taken down by PyPI for security reasons, we believe it is appropriate to request its transfer to our team for legitimate and secure use.
