Hi,
I need guidance on setting up renovate using docker and how to authenticate to my organization bitbucket server repo the documentation provided is not much helpful. I have the docker latest image in my companys jfrog repository. Now I would like to run the docker container and test my bitbucket repo. Help to provide step by step procedure.

Thanks for your reply please find below what was followed. We are planning to launch renovate in our organization. As a start we would like to launch and test custom to our organization.

As per the doc in below section we can start in 3 ways

As end user, you can choose from these ways to run Renovate:

You use the Mend Renovate App - In our organization we are using bitbucket server can we implement this app. The tutorial provided is for github as renovate automatically goes to github authentication as I have tried this on my local github account.

You self-administer/host your own Renovate instance - For this as an initial start I have downloaded renvate/renovate:latest docker image and trying to bring up the docker locally using below command.

Someone else is hosting Renovate, and you install/configure it for the repositories you choose - Not prefer to use this method.

->Have created a test bitbucket repository.
->Created access token for my test repository as suggested and have provided admin permissions to token and expiry.
->I am not sure if we need to add the access token created at project level as well.

I recommend you run instead with autodiscover=true and dryRun=extract instead of defining a repository name. You'll then see the list of repo names discovered

Okay for authentication what are the details to provide under username and password is it the token name and token created at repo level?

Hi there,
Some how managed to onboard Renovate as self-hosted for testing purpose. Need help on below

1. Can we onboard renovate to other than default main branch? Why because my actual config is present in release/dev branch instead of main default branch.
2. I want to run the docker continuously without scheduling is this possible like the mend app on github?
