Is the support of ARA planned to be implemented in future releases of yabridge?

I do want to implement that at some point now that the SDK is released under an open source license (see the bottom of the Known issues and fixes section), but I can't really afford to dedicate enough time to it until April. At the moment it's only really relevant if you're using REAPER and Melodyne (or Waveform, but few people use that to begin with). If Bitwig start supporting this in the meantime then I might try to find some time on the weekends to hack this together, but currently I have some other more important things I need to finish first.

Hey! Just wanted to check on this to see if there was work being done on this. It's the only thing really stopping me from converting to linux for all my audio prod needs. Appreciate everything you're doing here and thank you for your time!

I'll probably work on this as part of yabridge 4.0 (or it'll be in 4.1). I just have not yet had the time for it, and it's also not a feature I'd use myself since there are still only a small number of hosts and plugins that support it and I personally don't use any of them.

That is awesome! Thank you so much for the quick reply. Melodyne is apart of my normal/regular workflow so I would love to see this implemented. If you ever need anyone to test it in a regular use environment feel free to lemme know! Keep on keepin on :)

Hello ! Just wanting to know how this feature is going :) Everything is working fine right now, with wine staging 8.0, but ARA doesn't seem to work for the moment. I haven't found any real alternative on Linux at the moment, not with this quality and transparency.
Thank you for your work, you make Linux audio much more attractive for a lot of musicians, your project is the one that convinced me to do the switch !

No ARA support yet. It'll take a lot of effort and I wouldn't have any use for it myself (Bitwig doesn't support it), so it's not very high on my list of priorities right now. You can use Melodyne the normal way by just recording the audio into the plugin, or if you really need ARA then you can load the project in Windows REAPER running under Wine (since I'm assuming you use REAPER)
