Accented letters displayed incorrectly

Issue

When editing the "Description" field of a Contact, the use of an accented letter (but also of other special characters, such as the superscript) causes, once the contact is saved, its display in HTML code. For example, an "à" is displayed as "à". The Italian phrase "c'è un'età" is displayed as "c'è un'età". Unreadable!

The same problem occurs with the "Description" field of a Lead or an Account. However, accented letters and special characters entered in the "Note" field of a Note are saved and displayed correctly.

The version of SuiteCRM in use in my business is 8.6.1, but the problem also occurs when working on the demo version available online at https://suite8demo.suiteondemand.com/.
So it is certain that it is a bug not dependent on my environment.
Similar bugs, affecting other fields, have been reported in the past months, but not all have been resolved.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1.log in to https://suite8demo.suiteondemand.com/
2.go to "View Contacts" (or "View Leads" or "View Accounts". It's the same)
3.click on the first element of the list
4.click the "Edit" button
5.type in the field "Description" a word with an accented letter, for example "c'è"
6.click the "Save" button
7.in the "Description" field will appear the phrase "c'è" instead of "c'è"
...
