Hi,

I would like to have an option to generate a random alias not based on a random word or an UUID, but rather on a (maybe customizable) amount of random characters. If this isnt possible for the default domains because of possible collisions, please make this option available for custom domains.

Thanks!

Same here—I'd love to have much shorter options for custom domains. It's much more useful on mobile devices when usernames have to be manually entered.

I like this idea. Personally I'd be happy with either of those two options:

  1. Aliases created based on user defined regex. We almost already have this with the "auto create alias rules", but while it is actually good, after some time it is difficult to remember what aliases already exist while giving a random one on the go. I'd like to be able to push "create alias" and have one created that would both be within the defined regex, also confirmed as not yet existing.
  2. Just like it is possible to import active aliases through a CSV file, I could easily generate thousands of inactive aliases and import them into Simplelogin. When I would then press "create alias", it would simply activate one of the inactive ones.
