First, thanks for your script!

I found a problem when setting up vscode using latest NixOS-WSL:

[nixos@nixos:~/.vscode-server]$ nixos-version | cut -d "." -f1,2
24.05pre-git (Uakari)

[nixos@nixos:~/.vscode-server]$ nixos-version
24.05pre-git (Uakari)

This causes the PKGS_EXPRESSION variable evaluates to an unexpected value

PKGS_EXPRESSION=nixpkgs/nixos-24.05pre-git (Uakari)#pkgs

And the setup fails. Specifying PKGS_EXPRESSION manually can solve this.
