I quit my consulting job in January of 2023. There are a lot of reasons for this, but mostly because that career left me feeling extremely empty and exhausted at the end of every day.

I feel that I'm on a better path now, though. Currently, I'm a student at the University of North Georgia—this has given me a lot of time to focus on writing and contributing to open-source projects, but has been quite hard on my bank account.
