I recently got myself the latest generation EV charger from Givenergy, but I'm disappointed to find out that the local modbus control is not available with it's current firmware. From my understanding, I should be able to use the GE cloud to communicate with it using predbat, however I would rather keep using GivTCP for my inverter/battery setup.
Would this "hybrid" configuration be possible, or would I need to fallback to GE cloud only until the firmware updates to incorporate local control?

Good Evening,

Thanks for your time.
