Task 3: Create Spark Pool

1. Open Power BI

2. In PowerBI, click 'Workspaces' and select 'FabricSparkWS'

3. Click on three dots and select Workspace settings.

   

4. Go to Spark settings under Data Engineering/Science. Under Pool tab, Select the drop down next to StartPool and click on new pool.

   

5. Provide Spark pool name as 'FirstSparkPool', Node family is 'Memory optimized' and select size as Small. Uncheck Autoscale and Dynamic allocation and click on Create. Save Spark settings if prompted and close the box.
