🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

Make sure you have these tools installed:

• 🐳 Docker
• 🔧 Docker Compose
• 🛠️ jq
• 💻 VSCode

One-Command Setup

chmod +x install.sh && ./install.sh

This script will:

1. Install the Continue VSCode extension
2. Set up your configuration
3. Create and start necessary Docker services

Simply tap the Continue button in your VSCode editor to start chatting with your AI assistant - now protected by Codegate!

Manual Configuration

Basic Server Start

codegate serve

Custom Settings

codegate serve --port 8989 --host localhost --log-level DEBUG

Using Config File

Create a config.yaml:

port: 8989
host: "localhost"
log_level: "DEBUG"

Then run:

codegate serve --config config.yaml

Environment Variables
