Updating colours changed outside of colormate panel

I selected a text layer in colormate and decided to change it's colour in the sketch colour panel instead. However after it's colour was updated there it was not reflected in colormate.

Desired Solution:
As a user, if I have selected a layer and have changed it's colour in the Sketch panel rather than in the colormate panel, then I should see the colour update reflected in the colormate panel.
