OSPOlogy (BoF) Birds of a Feather (Formerly, OSPO BoF) is a framework consisting of semi-informal discussion sessions held at conferences, where participants with shared interests come together to discuss open source management and OSPO challenges and its strategic value in security, innovation, and collaboration within different industries, specializations or technologies (e.g. Cloud Native, Energy, Automotive, Security etc).

Instructions for Use

OSPOlogy BoF framework is designed to help any conference organizers implement a semi-structured discussion session under an integrated, consistent, Linux Foundation brand (OSPOlogy) focused on open source management. Conference Organizers are welcome to use the OSPOlogy BoF template and adapt this framework to their specific needs, provided proper attribution is given under the CC BY 4.0 license.

To implement this framework, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Template and replace all text in braces ({}) with relevant information specific to your conference, industry, or technology focus
  2. Organize the session with the recommended structure provided in the template
  3. Attribute OSPOlogy brand along with your organization's brand in any outcome materials or reports. See Brand Guidelines and Attribution and/or PDF Example to learn more
