Getting info for a package, with its extra dependencies

Hi,

Could pipdeptree get packages informations without its extra ?

I mean, I want to know the packages listed in https://github.com/encode/uvicorn/blob/36957371b14f8124cd46d76df164d9110c377140/pyproject.toml#L39 with a command like pipdeptree -p uvicorn[standard].

Currently, the command returns No packages matched using the following patterns: uvicorn[standard] instead and pipdeptree uvicorn do not return uvloop that is available on extra, but currently installed

This is not something that -p is capable of doing yet. pipdeptree also does not integrate nicely with extras yet (there is an open issue about this). Somewhat recently we made the necessary wiring to make it possible to integrate with extra requirements, it will just require a careful design to make sure it properly integrates with all of the flags and rendering options it will touch. I am interested in tackling this when I get the time.

Going back to your idea of pipdeptree -p uvicorn[standard], I will open this as a separate issue as it is great idea.
