Hi,
Are there any plans for 2019 to have new releases or is the project closing down?

Many thanks,
Tom

Hey @tkiskra! Yes, this project is still active! However, the feature set of Collins has basically matured, so we have no large changes on the horizon that would necessitate a new release.

Collins is very much alive, and being actively used and maintained :)

The reason why I asked earlier is because of MySQL 8.0 release - are there any plans to support it or only older versions like 5.7 are recommended? Which version should we use for persistent storage?

@tkiskra we test on 5.7, but if you can get 8.0 working, we would love to hear about it!

Do you know if anyone tried running it on MariaDB? Looking at HA cluster so could be good way of implementing it.

Great - I will definitely give it a go. Do you know if there are any simple env variables I can pass to docker image (could not find it in docs) or best to mount DB config files from container and make changes there to point to database?
