This is intended for people who install or update Plex Media Server, but are unable to claim it, or who are met with a message that states: "Looking for servers..."

If this is happening to you, then please go here to download the latest release:

Download the claimpms.sh script file if your Plex Media Server is running on a Linux or Mac based OS. Please refer to the How To Linux, Mac page for details on using the script.

Download the ClaimIt.exe file if your Plex Media Server is running on Windows. Please refer to the How To Windows page for details on running the executable.

Note:

If your Plex Media Server (PMS) is NOT using a Private Address Space IP Address, you must run this locally on the server and when prompted, use 127.0.0.1 as the IP Address
