Solax CAN-BUS Log kindly reqested.

Im using a solax inverter for a power wall project using an outlander battery pack and i need a log of the canbus so i can reverse engineer the protocol to interface with my BMS.
Would you be willing to help out and log the bus on start-up of the inverter?
Im also planning on using your home assistant to charge from agile octopus combined with a small solar array.
I have a solax X1 hybrid 3.7 d-e but i think they will likely share the same protocol through out the range.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have any hardware to play with Can-Bus as I don't have a man in the middle type device.

I see you were also asking about CT Clamps / Meters on there. My setup is using the Eastron SDM230 Modbus meter.

If you do work out Can Bus - BMS don't forget to share the info somewhere.

The info there is for an X3 (3 phase) and although similar it doesn't seem quite the same.
Im currently trying to get the SimpBMS sketch re-written with the protocol listed there, but the inverter polling doesn't quite match.
I have a relatively cheap CAN-USB dongle here that i am willing to send to you in the post, I can also terminate it with RJ45 male and female connectors so all you would have to do is plug it in between the inverter and BMS, connect a laptop power up the system and take a log of start-up and a min of running.
Would you be willing? It would really help out alot.

The battery Control should be the same between the X1 and X3 as they use the same batteries.
The only difference I know of is X1 can use up to 3 batteries and X3 can use 4. But the first user on that post has two batteries.

Has anyone found the CAN data for this? I'm keen to use this setup with outlander batteries, so knowing the can messages would be really useful

I have some logs for the X1 kindly recorded on my can dongle by Will106, I am doing the same as you and i have a pair of outlander batteries that i am trying to get to work on a single SimpBMS, Im trying to use your man in the middle sketch but I ran into some problems. I actually opened an issue on Github about it. Im currently running My X1 in lead acid mode which isnt ideal, maybe you could help me with the can hacker. I just realised you cant PM on here, are you on any other forums?

Has anyone worked out the protocol yet? I've discovered a working startup sequence, however don't know what the data in the messages stands for.

Can't remember if it actually emulates a SolaX Battery pack or something else like BYD that works with SolaX Inverters, it's been a while since I last looked at the project.
