Sim Card Selection Button Disappears

DESCRIPTION

I use sim 2 as my primary sim. The button to pick the sim card I am sending from only appears when composing new messages. Within a conversation the sim card I am sending from will switch back to sim 1 without giving me any indication that it has happened until after it was sent and there is no way to switch back to sim 2.

STEPS

1. Compose and send a new message with the sim card you want
2. Exit the conversation
3. The button to switch sims is gone upon opening the conversation again
4. Continue messaging until sim randomly switches

EXPECTED

The button to switch sims should always be shown and indicate which sim is selected. The selected sim should not change within an existing conversation unless done manually.

OBSERVATIONS

The button to switch sims disappears, preventing me from seeing which sim is selected until after the message is sent. After it randomly changes there is no way to switch back within the existing conversation and the indicator above the sent message is the only thing that shows it has switched as shown below.
