adapts the style in black and white.cache
enables cache for some files (minted), speed up document compilation.
To add an abbreviation, use \abbr{word}{definition}
. Abbreviations will be listed in a glossary at the end of the document.
Warning: word
should not contain accented characters or other special characters because of the glossaries package.
If it is the case, a lua function that convert most of the special character. Thus, \abbr{AT\&T}{American Telephone and Telegraph Company}
will work correctly, despite the \&
(that will be converted into (amp)
).
If there is an issue, there is an optional parameter to provide manually a alternate key. For example, \abbr{AT\&T}[AT-and-T]{American Telephone and Telegraph Company}
.
Use \horizontalLine
.
Create a link with \externalLink{text}{URL}
.
Add licence with \licence[path/to/image]{Licence name}{URL}
.
Create a inline source code with \CodeInline{make test}
.
Note: special chars should be escaped
The different title levels get adapted depending on the class option used.

The class provides environments for introductions and conclusions.
These macros should be used before \maketitle
(ideally in the preamble). If they are not used, there are default values. Be aware that \logo
and \editorlogo
take the path to an image (and not an image) as parameter. The default logo is default_logo.png
.
Editor logo take an optional parameter which is a sentence/slogan. Exemple: \editorLogo[slogan]{path/to/image}
If there are multiple authors, use \author
with a comma-separated list of authors: \author{author1, author2}
.
There is two ways of including an image.
- Use
\image{path}[caption]
to have it centered with an optional caption. - Use
\inlineImage{path}
to inline an image in your text.
To obtain a smiley, use \smiley{xxx}
where xxx
is a file from the smileys directory. By default this directory is ./smileys
. It can be modified by using \smileysPath{path}
in the preamble of the document.
\smileysPath{/path/to/smileys} % path to the directory containing the images of the smileys
To obtain a link to a profile page use \ping{username}
. The link is <base>/<username>
, where base
can be modified by using \profileLink{url}
. By default, the base url is https://zestedesavoir.com/membres/voir/
.
To add an iframe block (for example Youtube videos), use \iframe
: \iframe{url}[iframe type][caption]
.
Arguments in square brackets are optional (\iframe{url}
is enough). The default iframe type
parameter is "vidéo" and the default caption
value is blank.
The environments print "Introduction" or "Conclusion" using a sectionning
command (the level is adapted depending on the class option used). They are
printed without numerotation. The text printed could be changed using
\introductionName{text}
and \conclusionName{text}
.

In these environments, the sectionning commands are redefined such that:
\levelTwoTitle
corresponds to\subsection
,\levelThreeTitle
corresponds to\subsubsection
,\levelFourTitle
corresponds to\paragraph
,\levelFiveTitle
corresponds to\subparagraph
.
Hence, these sectionning commands does not depend on the level of introduction.
Mimic the corresponding markdown blocks.
It can take an optional parameter that corresponding to the block title.
Example:
\begin{Question}[My optional title]
Content of my block
\end{Question}
The Quotation
environment takes the the source of a quote as extra parameter.
To add a spoiler, use the Spoiler
environement. Spoilers will be grouped in order of apparition in a "Spoiler" section at the end of each chapter.
To add a block of code, use the CodeBlock
environment. Its parameter is the language which should be used for syntax highlighting (text
by default), it also accepts three extra parameter:
- a legend/caption,
- the line numbers/range to be highlighted,
- the starting line number.
\begin{CodeBlock}[optional caption][5, 8, 9-12][5]{latex}
A \LaTeX command.
\end{CodeBlock}
In addition to standard float (figure
), the equationFloat
could be used to have mathematics floats or to add a caption to an equation.
\[
\sum_{k = 0}^n = \frac{n(n + 1)}{2}
\]
\captionof{equationfloat}{A sum}
This template now relies on tabularray
, and one should thus use the specific zdstblr
environment to create table.
\begin{zdstblr}{ccc}
element & element & element\\
element & element & element\\
element & element & element\\
\end{zdstblr}
\captionof{table}{Légende du tableau}
To add an appendix, use the Appendix
environment. Appendix will be grouped in order of apparition at the end of the document.
