  • Hello, I'm Zayd, a new transfer student (junior) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Computer Science with a minor in physics.
  • My main interests are artificial intelligence, computational physics, and full-stack development.
  • Last summer and fall, I interned at Brookhaven National Laboratory, where I conducted research regarding the application of machine learning techniques to help interpret results from x-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments.
  • Currently, I'm working on an open-source clone of LinkedIn's Queens game w/ a custom board gen algorithm. Through this project, I've gained proficiency across the MERN stack.
