UAPs-OSINT

This is a collection of resources and ideas to kick-start an Open-Source Intelligence movement on Unidentified Aerial Phenomenons (UAPs).

Tasks

1) Social Media Insights

  • Generate Statistics and NLP analyses on UAP sightings
  • Make an interactive tool for experts and non-experts alike
  • Collect UAP sightings across social media platforms
  • Validate UAP sightings using tools such as Instagram location to match similar images within an area and rule out insects, birds, and camera artifacts
  • Generate Knowledge Graphs of actors interacting within the UAP community
  • Generate a Dataset of Images + AI-Generated Captions (Kosmos-2 or similar)[https://e0010e408f6e6b68.gradio.app/]

2) Hypothesis testing

  • UAPs can disrupt the local magnetic field and leave a recognizable signature
    • Leverage Swarm Satellites to get 24h measure of local geomagnetic variations during a UAP sighting MagGeoEnv
    • Leverage INTERMAGNET to get the data from closest magnetic antennas, given a report and threshold
    • Normalize and align all time-series

Exosemiotics: A hypothetical field of study that involves the investigation, interpretation, and understanding of potential communication systems or signals that originate from outside our own planet or species. This may include but is not necessarily limited to, potential signals or forms of communication from extraterrestrial life, such as those potentially observed in Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) or Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). As a cross-disciplinary field, exosemiotics would likely draw upon principles from semiotics, astrophysics, astrobiology, and other related disciplines.
