👋 Hello, I'm Jake Baverstock! I'm a Computing and IT student with a passion for technology and a unique background working with the military. I'm dedicated to constantly learning and expanding my skill set, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and web development.
🚀 What I'm Working On: Expanding my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development. Strengthening my understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) and programming languages like Python and Java. Certified in Ethical Hacking, with a growing interest in cybersecurity. Earned a Diploma in Computer Networking and two Diplomas in Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices (ICND). Achieved a Certificate in Network Analysis and Vulnerability Scanning. Passionate about exploring opportunities to apply my skills in Formula 1 or the cybersecurity industry. 💡 Outside of Tech: When I’m not coding, I enjoy football and a variety of outdoor activities that keep me active and engaged with nature.
🎯 My Goals: My main goal is to successfully complete my degree and pursue a dynamic career in computing. I’m particularly interested in cybersecurity and envision applying my skills in innovative environments like F1 or advanced cyber defense teams.
