Task

Write 2 python programs:

One called timeserver that

  • will accept incoming ipv6 TCP connections on port 55555 or another dynamic port of your choice
  • send ISO-8601 Timestamps followed by a newline (\n) in a 5 second interval to connected clients

One called timeclient that

  • will connect to the timeserver which can be assumed to listen on the same host i.e. loopback address
  • print out the timestamps as received by the server, until termination

Non functional requirements

  • Multiple simultaneously connected clients should work (one same host i.e. with 1 server process)
  • Only The Python Standard Library is allowed, no external dependencies
