This is the first release of Twinkle using Qt 4/5 and with a new upstream.

GCC 4.9.0 or newer must be used.

The most prominent changes since version 1.4.2 are:

  • Ported to Qt 4 and Qt 5.
  • Added in-call OSD.
  • Added a new incoming call notification screen/dialog.
  • Support the G.729A codec.
  • Made Diamondcard support optional.
  • Save window geometry and state.
  • Visual feedback (button presses) in DTMF window when pushing keyboard buttons.
  • Support clipboard paste in DTMF window.
  • Removed Boost Regex dependency.
  • Eliminated some GUI freezes/stalls.
