This is a team learning project done as part of the RS School Angular course in 2024. It is an SPA which aims to search and book train tickets and for the administrator to manage journeys, routes and trains. You can find out more about the task here.

Backend

To model the functionality of the backend we used a package provided by the school.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

This is an example of how to list things you need to use the software and how to install them.

  • npm
    npm install npm@latest -g

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Manager credentials

The manager and the root administrator can enter the system with

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via a platform of your choice. To use this command, you need to first add a package that implements end-to-end testing capabilities.
