This repository holds all data published by the Payne Lab, and methods for access and use

• CPTAC: This project is intended to facilitate accessing and interacting with cancer data from the NIH. Currently, the dataset available is from a series of endometrial cancer studies. These cancer studies are downloadable via our Python package as native dataframe objects from the pandas package and can therefore be integrated very quickly and easily with other Python-based data analysis tools.

Tutorials

Tutorials are located within the doc folder in each individual project directory. They are Python-based Jupyter notebooks tutorials intended to provide a cookbook of basic methods of interacting with the data.

Requirements

This package is intended to run on Python 3.6 with pandas 0.23.4. In the tutorials we use seaborn 0.9.0 and matplotlib 3.0.0 for data visualization.
