I wanted to run this on Linux (it's great as an example of various things, for being simple and feature-complete at the same time), but it had some MS-isms that had to be fixed first (mostly WinSock).
I tried to keep any changes as non-intrusive as possible, although the (hand-written) build.ninja might be slightly annoying to mantain... It would be better to autogenerate the dependencies, or use CMake, so I might revisit this later.
