Publin allows you to upload and manage scholarly publications and expose them to the web. It is designed to be used by individual authors, groups or institutions. It aims at maximizing and speeding up the inclusion in major bibliographic databases in the area of computer sciences.
- Submit publications, via web form or BibTeX import
- Edit publication and author metadata
- Display, add, modify and delete citations for a publication

- OAI-PMH interface for being able to register as OAI Data Provider
- User authentication and authorization system with assignable roles and permissions
- Template system for easy customization of the user interface (using HTML&CSS)

Please note: PHP 5.3 has reached its end of life long ago. It is highly recommended to use the current version 5.6! See this link for more information.
Support for PHP 7 has not been tested yet, it may work.
- Download the current release
- Change the
config/Config.php
file according to your needs - Create a new folder called
publin
on your web server - Copy all files into this folder
- Open the
install/
directory in your web browser and follow the instructions. - Important: Remove the
install/
folder after the installation.
- Download the current release
- Replace the files on your server with the new ones.
- See the release notes for any database changes that you need to execute.
An update script may be available in the future.
