Hi,
please give as the complete sql script for the database, we need the definition of the tablespaces used in the creation, also commands are not ordered and that generates "... does not exists" error.

Hi elmaazouz,
The SQL is shown as the DDL to provide the database structure.
However, the 7-zip file , i.e.: *.7z, is the file that you need to download to your local machine and decompress. This contains the entire database dump for the schema used for the tasks as we've stated in this section of the readme, https://github.com/artofbi/obi11gbook#database-for-the-tennis-data-warehouse

elmaazouz,
Apologies for the typo that we could not remove in the book. The database is Oracle in the 7-zip file I mentioned you need to download and uncompress. We used an Oracle RDBMS instead of MySQL but this did not get changed in the book as none of the editors caught it until it was already published.

there is absolutely no problem.
Instead, I have few questions to ask:
1- is the dump file creates a schema of its self, or if I have to import
it if the schema I want to use for the tutorial
2- I managed to work with the script posted in the website, and when I
imported the Tennis schema in the physical layer, I noticed that there was
much tables (Dimentional and fact tables) that the PDF shows, will that
cause problems?

Hi,
I noticed that in page 250 of the Obiee book: where a dimension of
level-based hierarchy that the logical table
has an attribute _Date_ witch I couldn't find in the physical table nor
that another attribute in the W_DATE_D is been renamed
to _Date_

elmaazouz,
# 1, it shouldn't matter.
# 2, it shouldn't cause any problems.
