This page documents usage of images throughout the Stuvi Website.

Stuvi Images

You should contact the Webmaster to be added to the Stuvi Google Drive folder named, Web Development. It contains most of the images that we may use.

Photos by Nick Louie

Stuvi is given a limited license to use some images owned by Nick Louie. You may either find them in the shared Google Drive folder, or Nick's temporary hosted cloud. Stuvi or any other entity may only use these images in direct relation to the Stuvi website. In no way may Stuvi or any person(s) sell, distribute, license, or modify images owned by Nick Louie outside of the aforementioned guidelines or without permission from the owner.

Free Images

There are plenty of free to use stock images online.

Flickr Creative Commons also has the largest free to use image collection, but you must understand and follow the Creative Commons License Guidelines. Typically, we don't want to use these because attribution is required, which detracts from the aesthetic appeal of the page.

Usage

Currently any High-Res images have been scaled down to about 300kb-500kb. I've found that a width of 2000px with 7/12 (Medium) Photoshop JPG quality to fit this criteria.
