#Cryptocat
Cryptocat is a browser-based XMPP client that provides multi-user (and private) instant messaging inside chatrooms. It uses the OTR protocol for encrypted two-party chat and the (upcoming) mpOTR protocol for encrypted multi-party chat.
Run make chrome
to build a Google Chrome-loadable .zip extension.
Run make firefox
to build a Mozilla Firefox-loadable .xpi extension.
Apple's model makes an automated build process difficult.

doubles as a "testing" directory where code changes are made before being pushed to Chrome and Firefox (usingupdate.sh
). As such, the directory is also loadable in Google Chrome under developer mode. - Test builds are available in
