Identification of Green Patents in Patstat.
The file output/t711_green_docdb_fam.tar.gz lists the green patent families and their identification method. It can be matched with Patstat through the DOCDB patent family identifier doc_db_family_id, available in table tls201_appln.
Please refer to classifications/README.md for available methods to identify green patents.
The following table shows the number of green patent families that have been identified by each of the considered methods, on Patstat 2023a:
