Help Clojure/west attendees find great places to eat and fun things to do around Seattle during the conference, April 15-16, 2016!
FYI - The conference venue is the Seattle Marriott Waterfront located at 2100 Alaskan Way. We’re particularly interested in recommendations that are easy for attendees to walk to from the venue.
Maps - @lynngrogan will add suggestions to a Google Map closer to the conference date
- Lunch Spots
- Mamnoon Street. 6th & Virginia, worth the walk.
- Skillet Regrade. 6th & Lenora, good diner food.
- 'Ohana. Hawaiian cuisine. Does sushi as well. Recommend the Loco Moco.
- Coffee
- Cafe D'arte. Italian-style espresso.

- The original Starbucks. In Pike's Place market, a major tourist destination near the convention hotel.

It looks to be clear and you should get good views of Jupiter at least. They say only thing an astronomer likes more than looking through his/her telescope is getting someone else to look through his/her telescope. Starts at 8 and goes til 11.
