In the first half of the class (Weeks 1-7, each week consists of a Tuesday and Thursday session), we will cover one research topic per week. Students will be assigned to teams and a rotating role within the team. Each week two teams will be responsible for the topic, but the entire class will do the readings and participate in the discussions.
In the second half of the class (Weeks 8-14), students will work on their research projects. Students will work in pairs unless the instructors approves an exception request. Students will:
- Introduce their project to the class by publishing a written summary and delivering a presentation.
- Present a project follow-up to the class by publishing a written summary and delivering a presentation.
- Submit a final report.
