Android app and REST server made as a school project.
This is supposed to be app where people can ask for small items for free. Missing few grams of flower/salt ? Just make a request and maybe your neighbour will accept it! Need iron for few hours? Make a request!
After succesful creation of request your position is mapped on map for other users so they can better find you. After completing request you get bonus repoutiation. People with more reputation are shown on top.
Communication with mysql DB, storing info and confirming request. Server was hosted using amazon AWS services. Unfortunately this has been stopped.
Client is an android app which uses google maps API and communicates with server. You can crete and manage your requests, search for other requests, view map with requests mapped on it.
