Overview ======== **pwnsjp** is a console-based frontend to some dictionaries published by Wydawnictwo Naukowe PWN. The following dictionaries has been tested: - “Słownika języka polskiego”, 3 volumes (distributed as an attachment to Gazeta Wyborcza) [3TSJP]; - “Multimedialny słownik PWN. Frazeologia” [MSF]; - “Multimedialny słownik PWN. Język polski” [MSJP]; - “Multimedialny słownik PWN. Wyrazy obce” [MSWO]. You will need the ``*.win`` file, which can be obtained: - either by extracting from ``setup/data1.cab`` using Unshield_; - or by installing the original interface on Windows/Wine. Identity data of the supported dictionaries: ======== ========= =========== ================================ dict. file size MD5 ======== ========= =========== ================================ 3TSJP slo.win 107564724 259d95924af212a7db53b7cb853cab47 MSF sf.win 24307100 f43c7f1597dd9593f730706d1b8bf492 MSJP sjp.win 63476492 2ac579d6502668db64080fdbaf9cdd8a MSWO swo.win 43146160 ff76016c9157a01b45be7cc764171384 ======== ========= =========== ================================ .. _Unshield: https://github.com/twogood/unshield Building -------- You will need: - *GNU make*; - *zlib* library; - *ncursesw* library (*ncurses* with Unicode support); - additionally, if you want to build the manual pages: - *xsltproc* (from *libxslt*, the XSLT C library for GNOME); - additionally, if you need to refresh some automatically generated files: - *autoconf*, - *perl*, - *gperf*, - *konwert* or *links* or *elinks*. Building instructions:: ./configure --with-dictdir=DIRECTORY-WITH-DICTIONARY-FILES make Usage ----- Examples:: pwnsjp --help pwnsjp --entry-only 'b(ne|om)' pwnsjp '^(nie)?kłopotliwy' pwnsjp --deep 'lodowisko' Polish diacritic characters can be displayed correctly only if locale is configured properly.
