Here is the information of the process required in order to earn the MCSD App Builder certification.

Prerequisites

You must first earn one of the following MCSA certification in order to qualify for MCSD App Builder Certification. In total 3 exams should be necessary.

Microsoft MCSA: Web Applications (View Details)

Demonstrate your expertise at implementing modern web apps.

Exams

Pass either exam 70-480 or 70-483 along with exam 70-486.

  • Exam 70-480 Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 View Details
  • Exam 70-483 Programming in C# View Details
  • Exam 70-486 Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications View Details

Microsoft MCSA: Universal Windows Platform (View Details)

This certification demonstrates your expertise at implementing Universal Windows Platform apps that offer a compelling user experience across a wide range of Windows devices.

Exams

Pass exam 70-483 along with exam 70-357.

Microsoft MCSD App Builder Certification (View Details)

This certification validates that you have the skills needed to build modern mobile and/or web applications and services.

Exams

Complete one of the following exams to obtain your MCSD.

  • Exam 70-357 Developing Mobile Apps View Details
  • Exam 70-486 Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications View Details
  • Exam 70-487 Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services View Details
