Aurelia systematics

Code for morphological and molecular analyses used in:
Lawley, J.W., Gamero-Mora, E., Maronna, M.M., Chiaverano, L.M., Stampar, S.N., Hopcroft, R.R., Collins, A.G., Morandini, A.C. 2021. The importance of molecular characters when morphological variability hinders diagnosability: systematics of the moon jellyfish genus Aurelia (Cnidaria: Scyphozoa). PeerJ https://doi.org/10.7717/peerj.11954.

Morphological analyses

- Aurelia-coerulea-comparison.R - Used for Welch's t-test in Fig. 8 (see coerulea.csv for input raw data).
- Aurelia-morphological-analyses-1.R - Used for MDS analysis in Fig. 3 and Mantel test, including all specimens with estimation of missing data (see aurelia-all.csv for input raw data).
- Aurelia-morphological-analyses-2.R - Used for MDS analysis in Fig. 4 and Mantel test, including fewer specimens without estimation of missing data (see aurelia-all.csv for input raw data).

Molecular analyses

- Aurelia-molecular-analyses.txt - Used for phylogenetic and pairwise distance analyses in Figs 9, 11, S1-S5 (also see Tables S4-S9). For input raw data see Figshare publication https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.14502474.
