Arc KDE — This is a port of the popular GTK theme Arc for Plasma 5 desktop with a few additions and extras.

Before you begin

If you had the theme installed and configured before and want to use the previous configuration, make sure that you have the backups for the configuration files of each Kvantum theme you've configured. The configuration files have .kvconfig extension and are located inside theme folders, under ~/.config/Kvantum/. This is important because if anything goes wrong, you won't lose your configurations and restoring them will be a matter of seconds.

Installation

Arc KDE Installer

Use the scripts to install the latest version directly from this repo (independently on your distro):

NOTE: Use the same script to update Arc-KDE.

ROOT directory

HOME directory

Recommendations

• For better looking please use this pack with Kvantum engine.

  Run kvantummanager to choose and apply Arc Dark Transparent (or another) theme.

• Install Papirus icon theme for a more consistent and beautiful experience.

• Fix the color of the menubar on Arc Dark GTK theme:

  sudo sh ~/.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme/Arc-Dark/fix-menubar.sh
