- ⚓ I’m currently working at the Brazilian Navy as Data Engineer, in a Research & Development project focused in Ocean Monitoring Systems!
- 🌊 I have an Ocean / Environmental Sciences academic background, with Bachelors in Oceanography.
- 🖥️ I have a Specialization/MBA in Data Science.
- 🌪️ I am also doing a Masters in Meteorology!
- 📊 Worked as Data Analyst / BI in a Digital Marketing & E-commerce Performance Consultancy
I am Oceanographer focused in Data Science and Data Engineering. I am currently working in the Brazylian Navy Hydrography Center as a Data Engineer and Physical Oceanographer. I am also a Master's student in Meteorology (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ - Brazil).
I have a long experience with programming (> 6 years) to process and analyze data. I started with MatLab but nowadays I use Python and R on a daily basis for work and projects. Besides these languages, I also have experience with Front-End Web Development to publish my personal projects, my website, and work related projects, mainly dashboards.
On this project, fuzzy spatial inference models were used to perform spatial inference queries with the goal to discover meaningful findinds from fuzzy spatial data. The project used the R package 'fsr' to obtain such inferences. The results were analyzed in R and published on the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE) (doi in progress). An adptated code for this analysis was published on Code Ocean. You can check here. |
A R package to work with Fuzzy Systems and Spatial Data. This project was developed as a result of my Data Science Specialization Course monography, and it was leaded by my supervisor Dr. Anderson Carniel, and done with my contribution and another course colleague. A conference paper was published using this package at the ACM SIGSPATIAL '21: Proceedings of the 29th International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems.(you can check the paper here). |
This dashboard was created to monitoring the real-time data from a meteocean buoy (wave buoy) deployed near by Abrolhos Island, Bahia - Brazil. This buoy is one of many buoys of the project that I belong to in my currently work, at the Brazilian Hydrographic Center. This dash was created using Python and the awesome library Dash by Plotly.
