Currently, the following relationships are supported in Phaidra:

info:fedora/fedora-system:def/relations-external#hasCollectionMember

Used to define collection members. In the Solr index, it's available as 'isPartOf' field.

Used in a container to point to container members.

Used to connect two objects in a generic way.

This indicates this object is part of an administrative collection (eg institutional repository).

If a picture is scanned from both sides, you can use this relation on the object representing the backside of the picture to point to the 'front side' object.

Used to point to the newer version of an object.

Use to point to an object containing an alternative format of an object (eg to relate a PDF to its LaTeX source format).

Use to point to an object containing an alternative version of an object (eg to relate a submitted version of an article to the accepted version).

Used to make this object's preview a preview for another object (eg says this container member should be used as the thumbnail for the whole container).

E.g. to associate an object containing WebVTT with a video object.

There are some system relationships which should not be edited, eg 'info:fedora/fedora-system:def/model#hasModel' or 'http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/2.0/itemID' or 'http://purl.org/dc/terms/identifier'.
