**Unified Data Catalog Migration**
|
||
**That Other Job You Had**
> Microsoft Suzhou, M365 Big Data Team, SOTELS Data Insight Team.
Also with a short description.
- Created and analyzed all the potential data sources and provide the data insights for database owner.
- Designed tools, analyzed and leveraged data mining, generated BI reports to improve and track the migration process.

Technical Experience | ||

**SOTELS EUDB (EU Data Boundary) Migration**
|
||
My Cool Side Project | ||
: For items which don't have a clear time ordering, a definition
list can be used to have named items.
> Microsoft Suzhou, M365 Big Data Team, SOTELS EUDB Team.
* These items can also contain lists, but you need to mind the
indentation levels in the markdown source.
* Second item. | ||
- Worked with other teams to drive standardization and enforcement efforts across M365 to meet Europe Compliance & Privacy regulations.
- Implemented and maintained the data boundary for M365 services.
- Migrated 50+ jobs for more than 100 PB+ data from current data lake Gen1 to new data lake Gen2 and also split EU data to EU environment.
- Implemented a automation tool with *Python* to generate View files for downstream consumers. And saved more than 1 engineering hour per task.
- Added adhoc one-time copy feature to the EUDB replication service to support one-time data copy between EU environment and rest of world environment request.
|
||
Open Source | ||
: List open source contributions here, perhaps placing emphasis on
the project names, for example the **Linux Kernel**, where you
implemented multithreading over a long weekend, or **node.js**
(with [link](http://nodejs.org)) which was actually totally
your idea... | ||
**Azure DevOps Task Reminder Bot**

Programming Languages
: **first-lang:** Here, we have an itemization, where we only want
to add descriptions to the first few items, but still want to
mention some others together at the end. A format that works well
here is a description list where the first few items have their
first word emphasized, and the last item contains the final few
emphasized terms. Notice the reasonably nice page break in the pdf
version, which wouldn't happen if we generated the pdf via html.
- Designed and implemented an internal teams bot to remind developers to complete their tasks in Azure DevOps.
- Used *.NET Core*, *Microsoft Bot Framework*, Microsoft Kusto Storage, etc.
- Saved more than 1 engineering hour per for sprint master collecting task status. and helped team leader to focus on more important things.
|
||
: **second-lang:** Description of your experience with second-lang,
perhaps again including a [link] [ref], this time placing the url
reference elsewhere in the document to reduce clutter (see source
file). | ||
**HR++ ( Human Resource Management System )**
|
||
: **obscure-but-impressive-lang:** We both know this one's pushing
it. | ||
> Rococo Co., Ltd. Software Engineer ( Intern )
: Basic knowledge of **C**, **x86 assembly**, **forth**, **Common Lisp**
- This project is a highly customizable HRMS solution for Rococo Ningbo. Use *Spring framework* to simplify the code. For web front-end uses *Angular* and *React* for PC and mobile adaptations respectively. We use *Docker*, *Jenkins*, etc. for containerized management and continuous integration. There are highly customizable function modules, fuzzy search, hardware integration, approval workflows, and other features.
- I was responsible for some of the business development of the system, as well as the main design and development of the mobile web side. Also integrated *Flowable* to simplify the development of the approval process features of the system. I independently completed the resume collection system, resume information extraction (emails from platforms like Linkedin and Seek, etc.) and abstracted a unified interface for extension. I implemented the automatic calculation of the leave module, leave duration according to the office hours and holidays.
- Used *Yeoman* tool to generate simple CRUD template code for the system, avoiding repeated copying and pasting, which greatly simplified the development process.
- Worked with product managers to translate the English language package of the system.
- Currently the system has been delivered to more than 10 companies and received a lot of positive feedback, especially the resume analysis module was well received by them.
