A composite URI is a URI for a generic or abstracted entity (e.g. a work) that comprises multiple, more specific "constituent" URIs. For example, the literary corpus The Demonstrations of Aphrahat is an entity that contains multiple specific texts, such as: Demonstration 1, Demonstration 2, etc.
