pyenergyplus is a direct port of the pyenergyplus inside regular EnergyPlus distribution into a standalone Python pacakge. Nothing is changed. No additional code written. The purpose of the port is a have a standalone Python pacakge so that regular Python users can access EnergyPlus through pyenergyplus API without having to separately install EnergyPlus and manage environment manually.
