Walkthrough

The changes modify the handling and recording of task run statuses in execution snapshots within two internal modules of the run engine. In the dequeue system, the status for a new execution snapshot created after locking a task run is now taken from the freshly updated locked task run's status instead of the previous snapshot's runStatus. In the run attempt system, the "RETRYING_AFTER_FAILURE" status assignment was removed from retry logic, and after nack-ing a message for requeuing, the task run status is explicitly updated to "PENDING" in the database; this updated run object is then used for creating the execution snapshot. Corresponding test assertions were updated to reflect these status changes. No changes were made to exported or public entity declarations or method signatures.

Learning: In apps/webapp/app/services/runsRepository.server.ts, the in-memory status filtering after fetching runs from Prisma is intentionally used as a workaround for ClickHouse data delays. This approach is acceptable because the result set is limited to a maximum of 100 runs due to pagination, making the performance impact negligible.

🔇 Additional comments (2)
internal-packages/run-engine/src/engine/tests/waitpoints.test.ts (2)

243-243: LGTM - Test assertion updated to reflect new retry status behavior.

The expectation has been correctly updated from "RETRYING_AFTER_FAILURE" to "EXECUTING" to align with the engine changes that removed the "RETRYING_AFTER_FAILURE" status assignment during retry logic.

249-249: LGTM - Test assertion updated to reflect new retry status behavior.

The expectation has been correctly updated from "RETRYING_AFTER_FAILURE" to "EXECUTING" to align with the engine changes where the run status is now explicitly updated to "PENDING" after requeue, and the dequeue system uses the current locked task run's status for execution snapshots.
